Ben Gurion Airport - We arrive
Shalom from Israel!! Woo-hoo!! We're here!!!!!
This is our first photo from Israel -- it's a rather fabulous fountain in the Ben Gurion Airport. If you look closely, you'll see the water dripping down from the skylight, like little raindrops. Very cool. (Double click pic for larger image.)
Also very cool is the fact that the airport has free wireless internet. Gotta love it. We arrived at about 5:30 p.m., local time, and because we aren't supposed to arrive in the Haifa area until 9 p.m. (per instructions from the Baha'i World Center), we have some time to kill. Mary Lou suggested getting out the computer and composing our first blog entry off line, and lo and behold, there was the internet. So... killing a little time isn't gonna be an issue!
The flight was fabulous, at least as fabulous as possible for a 4-hour flight back-to-back with an ELEVEN-hour flight. Although our reservations said "business class," we were in the first class cabin with all that fabulous first class food and big seats and tender loving care. Mary Lou had never flown anything other than steerage class before, and she swears she's never going back. 'Nough said about that. (Okay, one more thing -- she says her Inner Material Girl is pretty happy about the whole first class thing.)

This is a wonderful pilgrim's note, the best I've seen. Very exciting and I've shared it with a number of friends.
God bless! Cal Rollins in San Francisco, the Master's wonderful city.
