We are here, WOW!

What is there to say? This is the view from our hotel room balcony. Wow. Wow, wow, wow. And WOW!! After seeing about a million billion photos of this view, there it is -- live and in person and in living color. Wow wow wow wow. (Photo by Gary -- double click on the picture for a bigger version.)

The route from the airport approached Mount Carmel from the back, so we didn't get to see the Shrine of the Bab. (That's what this is -- the Shrine of the Bab on Mount Carmel.) We drove up some narrow, crowded streets that reminded me a little of San Francisco. Then we had to get checked in and get the room keys and unload the luggage and all that, when all in the world we wanted to do was run to the window and look at the Shrine!!

But it was definitely worth the wait.
